We are please to announce that Dr Sarah Luker - Chiropractor has given birth to a healthy baby girl. Lowenna Faith weighed in at 6lb 12oz on the 31st December 2010. We wish the new family our very best wishes. The City Chiropractic Clinic gained an award from the College of Chiropractic. This award was the Patients Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) . The award recognises the clinic for its care . wellbeing and privacy given to its patients. The Clinic was accredited with the Investors in People standard in 2009 and is following a continuous improvement plan with the recognised body All staff work extremely hard and as a team intend to make the clinic the best in the local vicinity. Our aim is to keep our clinic up to date with the latest technology and training for all its staff. All the professional bodies governing our Chiropractors, Podiatrist and Therapists require continuous professional development of its members. We offer a free of charge car service to patients who for one reason or another find it difficult to attend for treatment. The only condition for the transport is that the patient is able to enter and exit the vehicle unaided. Any monies which the patient may wish to give for the transport is donated to local charities. This year our charity is Cancer Lifeline SW Ltd.
We are pleased to announce that Sonacare Ltd are now able to offer Ultrasound scans at the clinic to enable people to have scans of several areas of the body which include Liver, gall,bladder, testes, abdomen etc. Sonacare also incorporate a Babyscan faciltiy which offers 3D & 4D babyscanning. Up until this time pregnant mums had to travel as far as London for this service. It uses a state of the art ultrasound machine GE Voluson 730 which gives high quality images of your baby. The scanner is linked to a TV monitor showing the baby in the womb moving around and delivers fantastically clear images.
